200g of rice
400g chicken broth or vegetables
1/2 green pepper and 1/2 red
2 cloves garlic
2 peeled tomatoes
300g of chicken breast
150g of peas
A few strands of saffron (or food coloring

RECIPE TO MAKE RICE WITH CHICKEN AND VEGETABLES:
1.- We put an oil slurry to heat over medium heat in a very wide saucepan. Like a paella. While it is heating, we chop the onion, the peppers and the cloves of garlic and we add them. We put a little pizquita of salt and we cook while we revolve from time to time with a spoon of stick for about 5 minutes.
2.- After time we add the chicken breasts cut into large pieces. If you prefer you could use thighs instead of breasts. We raise the fire a bit and cook everything for another 5-10 minutes. Until the chicken gets some little color on the outside (not too much).
3.- When the chicken has some color, it is time to throw the chopped and peeled tomatoes. Cook while stirring all ingredients for another 5 minutes.
4.- It is time to throw the rice. 200g of rice comes to be a glass of water 200ml filled with this cereal. We threw it out and we integrated it with the spoon with the rest of the ingredients, while we let it cook for one more minute. It absorbs all the vegetables and chicken toys!
5.- It is the turn to throw the rest of the ingredients that are missing. First we pour the chicken broth or vegetables. Twice as much as rice (two glasses). Then the strands of saffron. If you do not have saffron you can add food coloring but, it will not be the same. We also add the peas and finally we rectify salt. 6.- We remove for a couple of minutes all the ingredients to be placed as evenly as possible on the pan we are using. Then lower the heat to a gentle potency and let it cook, without stirring any more, for 15 or 20 minutes. Until it’s hot
7.- When the rice has absorbed practically all the broth, we extinguish the fire, cover the pan with a clean cloth and let rest 5 minutes more. Thus, we ensure that we have a tasty rice “
