How to make your own apple cider vinegar

What you need
10 whole organic apples
2 large wide opening containers
1.Wash 10 organic apples.
2.Cut the apples in quarter.
3.Leave the apples at room temperature until they turn brown.
4.Place the quarters of brown apples in a large container with a wide opening.
5.Pour enough water into the container to cover the apples.
6.Cover the container with a cheesecloth. Place it on the top of the container, without attaching it. This will allow the oxygen to circulate in the mixture.
7.Arrange the covered container in a warm, dark place. Heated toilets are a good solution. You can also keep it in the attic or in a garden shed during the warmer months.
8.Leave the container covered for 6 months, mixing once a week.
9.Recover the container after the 6-month fermentation period. There will be a layer of foam on the top of the liquid. This is formed by the action of bacteria that change the alcohol into vinegar.
10.Filter the liquid slowly through the cheesecloth by pouring it into another large container. This can be done by firmly holding the cheesecloth on the opening of the first container. Then tilt it to let small amounts of liquid flow into the second container. Continue until all the liquid is filtered and transferred to the second container.
11.Cover the new container with the same cheesecloth.
12.Let stand in a warm, dark place for 4-6 weeks.
13.Transfer your fully fermented apple cider vinegar to smaller containers if you wish. Keep them covered in the fridge to keep them cool.
